Benchmark International Completed St. Jude 5k Walk/Run for Charity

Members of the Benchmark International team, completed the St. Jude 5K Walk/Run this past weekend in Tampa, FL to support ending childhood cancer.
The month of September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, and the Tampa team gathered together and surpassed their fundraising goal which goes towards finding cures, saving children, and helping families financially.
The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to "advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment." Consistent with the vision of their founder Danny Thomas, "no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay."
St. Jude's goal is for families never to receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food because their main goal is to focus on their child's well-being.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90% and eventually ending childhood cancer for good. St. Jude is transparent with the discoveries they make and every child saved, so they can use those discoveries to save thousands more children.
