Benchmark International Successfully Facilitated the Transaction Between Medizina GmbH & Co. KG and Stein HGS Holding GmbH

Benchmark International is pleased to announce the acquisition of Medizina by Stein.
Medizina, based in Papenburg, northwest Germany, was founded in 2014 by Bernhard Brake. The company supplies sophisticated and innovative treatment tables and chairs via its own online shop. Mr. Brake's expertise as a qualified engineer, coupled with his profound understanding of e-commerce and online marketing, has laid the groundwork for Medizina's establishment and growth.
Stein, a portfolio company of IK Partners, was established in 1999 and is now under the management of Johannes Vogel with headquarters in Seevetal, close to Hamburg. It has evolved to become the leading B2B online retailer for a wide variety of high-quality products.
Stein acquired 100% of the shares from founder and owner Bernhard Brake, who will stay on board as a consultant in the areas of digitalization and automation.
Bernhard Brake commented on the transaction: "After ten years of driving my company forward, it is now time to pass the baton on to a strategic partner who will pick up where I have left off. A special thanks goes to Benchmark, who managed the complete M&A process.”
